You’ve spent a long time thinking something is wrong with you. There isn’t.

The way you got here makes sense…
This is the place to actually feel that.

    Parts Work

Working with Kate

When we feel stuck, lost, alone, confused, and in pain, it’s so common to approach ourselves with judgment and shame. It’s a risk to share these vulnerable parts of ourselves with others.

When accompanied by a safe and compassionate other, we see ourselves in a different light. We can begin to understand that our patterns, behaviours, and painful emotions are not problems with us. Each part of ourselves that we want to change is there for a reason, born of survival and strength. Healing begins when we start to have compassion for all of our parts. By welcoming these exiled emotions we get in touch with our wisest selves. Therapy is the journey of connecting to this inner world, listening to what we need to feel balanced and whole.

I aim to create a safe therapy space through a gentle, compassionate, and non-judgmental approach so that clients can connect to their most authentic selves.
